Tip of the Week No.255 ‘dizzying’
Hello,This time it’s Jocelyn writing the latest blog post!I thought I’d write about ‘dizzying’.
When you are ‘dizzy’ it is when you feel that the room is spinning, you are weak and faint.
Usually it is related to an illness or physical problem, you might tell your doctor that you feel dizzy.
We would say “I feel dizzy” and the doctor would know how you feel.

dizzying adj.
causing someone to feel unsteady, confused or amazed

‘Dizzying’ is related to a situation causing you to feel the emotions above. You might not actually feel ‘dizzy’ physically.

There were a dizzying amount of features on her new TV.

The British Library contains a dizzying 170-200 million books and other items from many countries.

There are a dizzying amount of kanji to learn for a new learner of Japanese!

I used to like this song as a child!
