brew verb

To make tea or coffee with boiling water
沸騰したお湯で紅茶やコーヒーを淹れること

“Do you want me to brew some coffee?”
“No thanks, I’ve already had 5 cups today.”

「コーヒー淹れようか？」
「ううん、今日はもう5杯飲んだからいい。」

In some places in the UK, “a brew” only means a cup of tea.
イギリスの中では “a brew” 自体で一杯の紅茶という意味として使われることもあります。

“Do you fancy a brew?”
“Yes please!”
“One lump or two?”
“Three actually!”

「紅茶どう？」
「うん、お願い！」
「角砂糖1個？2個？」
「3個お願い！」

(a lump is a cube of sugar, used with brewed tea or coffee).
a lump とは角砂糖のこと。
